Learning can be a great experience by connecting with related analogies

....learning can be fun, if we learn new concepts by connections.

For example, consider the connection between Firewall and Lakshman Rekha

Lakshman Rekha: In modern Indian parlance, refers to a strict convention or a rule, never to be broken. It often refers to the ethical limits of an action, traversing which may lead to undesirable consequences.

FirewallA firewall establishes a barrier between a trusted, secure internal network and another network (e.g., the Internet) that is not assumed to be secure and trusted.

Seems interesting ! Unfortunately, such analogies are less found in our text-books, but are created in the heads of few highly inspired teachers, on-the-fly, just in the class-rooms, who effectively use them to convey the topics in a better way. Hats off to such teachers !. I am fortunate for having heard more of them from my teachers. And some times, such analogies are even devised by students to remember some concepts, as the one shown below. Here, the connection is in the form of mnemonics or stories :

....now, all the life long learners are requested, to contribute/comment on such analogies in this blog, (thus be the co-author, for this blog!), in connecting virtual-world to the real-world, and thus help making, learning an enjoying experience.

Dedicated to my dear teachers and students community.
